Instructions

1. Make the Sauce

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add flour and chili powder; stir for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly whisk in broth.
  4. Add tomato sauce and spices.
  5. Simmer 8–10 minutes until thickened.

2. Cook the Beef

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
  3. Add spices, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes.

3. Prepare Tortillas

Warm tortillas so they don’t crack when rolling.

4. Assemble

  1. Add a layer of sauce to the baking dish.
  2. Fill tortillas with beef and cheese.
  3. Roll and place seam-side down.
  4. Pour remaining sauce on top.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese.

5. Bake

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly.
