Instructions
1. Make the Sauce
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add flour and chili powder; stir for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in broth.
- Add tomato sauce and spices.
- Simmer 8–10 minutes until thickened.
2. Cook the Beef
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
- Add spices, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
3. Prepare Tortillas
Warm tortillas so they don’t crack when rolling.
4. Assemble
- Add a layer of sauce to the baking dish.
- Fill tortillas with beef and cheese.
- Roll and place seam-side down.
- Pour remaining sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly.
